Trust principles

Career help should make you more credible, not less.

Lucent Careers is built around careful editing, factual restraint, and user control. The goal is a stronger CV that still feels accountable to the real person behind it.

Plain commitments

Clear pricing before any paid checkout

No hidden CV training from ordinary usage

Account export and deletion controls

Human-readable privacy and AI disclosures

How it behaves

These are product rules, not decorative values. They shape intake, generation, storage, review, and export.

01

Truth is a product feature

Lucent Careers should sharpen the evidence you provide, not invent employers, qualifications, dates, authority, tools, or outcomes.

02

The user stays in control

Every CV is editable, every version can be reviewed, and the final decision remains with the person whose career is being represented.

03

Privacy is the default posture

Guest drafts stay in the browser. Signed-in projects are account-isolated. Operational logs intentionally avoid raw CV content.

04

Improvement requires consent

Ordinary request logs are not training data. Improvement submissions require explicit opt-in, redaction, and human review before eligibility.

Legal and safety documents

The fine print should be findable.
